Foliar Application of Humic Acid and Some Exo-and Endophytic Growth Hormones on Yield, Yield Components and Fatty Acid Composition in Safflower (Carthamus tinctorius L.) under Drought Stress

Α two-year field experiment was conducted in Varamin-Pishva Branch, Islamic Azad University, Iran to study the impact of drought stress and foliar application some hormones on safflower growth. The induced at three levels considered as main plots. Irrigating after 75% water depletion be normal irrigation (control), irrigating 60 45% depletion, defined mild severe stress, respectively. humic acid (HA), salicylic (SA), Gibberellic (GA3), ascorbic (AA), water, non-foliar sub-plots. effect regimes significant seed yield, oil palmitic acid, use efficiency (WUE). Also, applications for stearic WUE. Normal produced maximum yield (2270 kg ha-1) that decreased by 25.9% 37.1% under regimes, minimum yields were SA treatment with average values 1970 1357 ha-1, Although content enhanced conditions, oleic significantly such conditions. current findings suggest can recommended when optimal supply applied increase quality quantity oilseed.
